At precisely 6:30 pm as the sun was halfway across the stadium field, Tim McGraw took to the stage in a white shirt, white jeans and his signature black hat and shades. He sauntered up to the candy apple red mic stand at center stage and began “Felt Good On My Lips”. After singing the first few songs, Tim thanked the Heinz Field crowd, “Thanks for comin’ out to see us tonight…I love coming to Pittsburgh!”

A couple of highlights from the evening included Tim’s introduction of Real Good Man “Let me hear all the ladies in the house this evening!” Then he turned to the guys in the crowd, “Let me hear all the men in the house this evening. Fellas, tell ’em like you mean it…this is for you! ”

While performing “Just To See You Smile”, Tim sat on the edge of the stage and spent some quality time with the folks in the pit which was a special treat for all the ladies up front.

“We got any country folks in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania? We gonna get country on your ass right now!” And with that Tim and the band launched into “Back When”. During the number, Tim grabbed a camera and we were treated to Tim-Vision on the big screen!

It’s rare to see a Philly jersey in Heinz Field, let alone a baseball jersey in this house that football built, but during “Live Like You Were Dying” a fan in the pit handed Tim a Phillies Jersey with his dad’s number 45. Tim looked touched by the gesture and signed the blue & burgundy Tug McGraw jersey before leaving the stage. He returned for a short encore which he closed out with a brand new song, “Truck Yeah.”
