Believe it or not, today’s Trending @ 10 is a real thing! Just a movie prop real thing, not a real thing, real thing.

The Loch Ness Monster movie prop was found at the bottom of a Scottish lake while researchers were looking for the REAL Loch Ness Monster’s lair (they’ll be searching for a while, no?).

ANYWAY, the prop was from the 1970 movie “The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes” and it’s 30 feet long!! According to, it sunk to the bottom of the lake during filming in 1969, and I guess no one ever bothered to get it until now? On accident?

Real Loch Ness Monster discovery or not, it’s still a pretty cool part of history! Good luck searching for the real (?) one, boys!
