It’s been some time since the Dixie Chicks toured together, so fans naturally got excited when they announced in November they’d be heading out on the road. Thanks to the overwhelming popularity of their DCX MMXVI Tour announcement, the trio decided to add nine dates, thereby bringing their North American tour to over 50 shows.

The Dixie Chicks are currently overseas on their sold out European tour, but they’ll be returning stateside to begin their North American tour on June 1. They kick things off in Cincinnati.

Augustana, Anderson East, Josh Herbert, Smooth Hound Smith, Vintage Trouble will split opening duties as the Dixie Chicks make their way across the U.S. For the new dates, however, Elle King will bring her brand of southern rock to the stage in support of the band’s first seven additional shows in the south, Ohio and New York. Augustana returns to support them for their two additional midwest shows. Tickets for the new dates go on sale May 7.
