Cassadee Pope has a new EP coming out this summer, titled “Summer” and she took a walk on the streets of Nashville while talking to fans during a live Facebook chat.

Pope says “Summer” is a country EP with rock & pop influences, saying “I can’t desert those, that’s who I am. That’s just me staying true to myself.”

One fan asked what her favorite childhood memory was and Pope said it’s “going to Vandergrift, Pennsylvania where my Pappy is from and my grandpa was born in the house we still have in the family. It’s very rural and it’s so beautiful.” She said “It’s just a really great place to escape. I like to think of that place as my southern livin’ home. I love it.”

In addition to the Q&A session, she also revealed the cover art for “Summer,” which will be released June 3.
