State Representative Summer Lee will be in Forest Hills Tuesday night to meet with the public to discuss the climate crisis and how the community can impact environmental policies at the local and state levels.

Lee will be on a panel with local experts to discuss fracking, Mon-Valley Works, pollution, and the “next steps in the fight for a stable, equitable, and healthy future for the Mon-Valley and our planet.”

“As we have seen first-hand, the struggle for clean air and water continues in our region,” Lee said in a statement. “Often these issues can seem too big for us to tackle alone, whether it’s standing up to a global corporation polluting the air we breathe, or a president bent on rolling back decades of progress on environmental issues. But together, we can make policy makers and politicians hear us and our concerns, and affect real, lasting change.”
