While live music and concerts aren't really a thing right now, Chase Rice was back on stage this weekend and fueled a lot of anger among country artists and fans.

Chase headlined a concert at the Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary in Petros, Tennessee, and judging by photos and videos that are surfacing on social media, no one in the packed crowd was wearing masks and social distancing was NOT a thing.

According to the venue, they said all guests had their temperature taken before entry, hand sanitizer was available and while the recommended physical distancing, they weren’t really able to enforce it.

The venue released a statement saying, “All local requirements were abided by for the recent concert, and numerous precautions were taken. We drastically reduced our maximum venue capacity of 10,000 to 4,000 maximum capacity (lower than the state’s advisement of 50%) with less than 1,000 in attendance Saturday night providing ample space in the outdoor lawn area for fans to spread out to their own comfort level."

While the venue said that they took all of the precautions, country artists are starting to speaking out about this, including Kelsea Ballerini.

WOW!

Chase has yet to comment on the weekend events.
