The number one thing getting us through pandemic.. Netflix's documentary “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness".

While you might not have seen the show yet, you've seen the memes accusing Carole Baskin of killing her second husband.

With the popularity of the show, a Florida sheriff is asking the public for tips regarding one of the lingering mysteries raised in the recently released show: What happened to Carole Baskin’s husband?

For those who aren’t up to speed, here’s a little summary of the show: “Tiger King” is about Joseph Maldonado-Passage, also known as “Joe Exotic,” a former Oklahoma zookeeper who loves guns, younger men and big cats.

Earlier this year, Joe Exotic was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his role in a murder-for-hire plot against Carole Baskin, the owner of Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida, who was trying to shut Joe down, accusing the Oklahoma zoo of abusing animals and selling big cat cubs.

While the show mainly details the hostile relationship between Joe and Carole, it also brings into question the disappearance of Carole's second husband, Jack "Don" Lewis, who disappeared in 1997.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister wants to take advantage of all the attention that the show is getting and try to figure out the ending to this mystery.

In a news conference on Tuesday, Sheriff Chronister said that the Lewis case remains open and that he recently assigned a detective supervisor to handle new leads.

Sheriff Chronister said at least six new leads a day about Lewis have come in over the past week.
