An ice cream festival is coming to the burgh!!!

According to, Yelp is doing it to celebrate National Ice Cream Month! (I had no idea that was even a thing, but thanks for bringing it to my attention, Yelp! Clearly we're all going to celebrate accordingly!)

ANYWHO - This festival is happening on July 21st at the Frick from 5pm-8pm! Totally free to get in, but there is a suggested donation of $10, with proceeds benefiting the Frick! Which is not a terrible price to pay for all you're gonna get:

You'll be able to sample ice cream from all your favorite local spots!

  • Bella Christie’s
  • Betsy’s Ice Cream
  • Churn
  • Frick Pittsburgh
  • Klavon’s
  • Graeter’s Ice Cream
  • Greek Gourmet – Greek Freeze
  • IceBox Creamery & Cafe
  • Meadows of Monroeville
  • Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt
  • Sewickly Confectionary
  • Stickler’s Ice Pops
  • Sugar Spell Scoops

On top of that, they'll have face-painting and games on the lawn for the kiddos, plus a DJ and cash bar for the adults!

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday this summer, amiright?! Get more details here!
