I hate to bring you down on a Monday when you're already over it, but today's Trending at 10 STINKS.

Zac Brown (of Zac Brown Band) and his wife, Shelly, announced over the weekend that after 12 years of marriage, they've decided to SPLIT UP.

:( :( :(

They made a joint statement to saying, "We feel blessed to be on such an incredible journey in life and sometimes the journey begins to lead in different directions...It is with deep love and respect that we announce we are separating as a couple."

(more tears, more tears)

BUT, then they added this line at the end of their statement, that I thought was SUPER classy:

"...we would like to ask that rather than commenting or spending any energy towards this, that you take this moment to send love to your family, in honor of ours."

That's probably the nicest sentiment I have ever seen on any celebrity split announcement, EVER.

BUT STILL, it stinks.

You can read their full split statement here, and I'll be hoping love isn't dead in a corner somewhere.
