Growing up, most little girls dream of their wedding day. From the wedding dress, to the cake, to the pictures, to the sweet moments to be had on the dance floor. For Mary Bourne Butts', it was no different.

From the time she was a little girl, Mary dreamed of the day that she could have a father daughter dance with her Dad and knew that the song was going to be Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance". Unfortunately, life tried to get in the way of that dream.

Mary's father, Jim Roberts was diagnosed with cancerous brain tumor known as gliblastoma in 2017. Jim had underwent surgery to remove the tumor, as well as had chemo and radiation, but the cancer returned, forcing him to be in a wheel-chair. Life may have threw the family a basket of sour lemons, but they were able to make the best lemonade out of it last month at the wedding in Alabama.

When talking about the video to news outlets, Mary is quoted saying, "More people are praying for my Dad because of this. This five minutes of fame is really fun, but I hope people have been inspired by what they're seen, whether it's something they missed out on in life, or something they have but that they take for granted."
